This has to be one of the top 10 worst books I have read. The writing is clumsy, stilted and very difficult to follow. There is no flow and it's just a struggle to get through. You don't really know what is motivating the killer or why he suddenly goes on this serial killing spree. Losing his home, his father in jail turns him into a bloody killer of young women? This was the second in the series, but usually an author gives you enough background to read whatever book it is. There is no suspense, no tension and the end is very anti climatic. I wasted a good many hours of my life on this book, don't waste yours. I cannot believe anyone would give 5 stars to this book. I can no longer trust the reviews on Amazon.Product details

As like most of C.M. Sutter's ongoing stories, Justified, was another in her crime thriller arsenal that was hard to put down. A very fitting title. Loved the book!
I've read three of C.M.Sutter's FBI serial killer novels so far and can't get enough of them. What makes them 'different' is that we, the readers, are allowed to enter the mind of the killer(s) and, apart from loathing them, somehow feel a certain empathy as to the why they do what they do. I WILL keep buying Sutter's books.
The FBI is on the trail of a serial killer so Jade and her partner J.T. are dispatched to catch this vicious killer. The trail of death leads them from Arkansas to Wisconsin with many stops and bodies on the way.
The twists and turns keep getting better and better in this second book in the Jade Monroe FBI series. Nothing is what you think it is and the final few chapters makes that perfectly clear. Another winner from C.M. Sutter.
I loved this book, although it was very gruesome. I Would recommend this to all adults who enjoy murder mystery!
Exciting fast paced read with strong female leading character. Compelling story line that is believable in today's world. Can't wait to read about Jade's next foray into the crime world.
I've read other Jade Monroe books and this one did not disappoint. Unknown to the FBI they are tracking the same sadistic killer that got away. He has ties to Jade and her sister Amber. It's gruesome, fast moving and entertaining. Some of the same characters are back . It's interesting to see how they use what little they have to track down this horrible killer. It's a true page turner, I literally had to hold my eyelids open late, late at nite cause I just couldn't put it down.
