Not Leddy's best, but not her worst. It's just not my favorite. I say that often I think. I don't know. It's still a great book with a heartwarming story filled with love and pain and secrets.I loved the way the book flowed. All of those twists. I found the male character annoying. He seemed a bit preachy. But I was glad that the female character felt the same and told him off. I was like YES, a girl with brains and balls.
The only thing I didn't like about this book was the ending. I mean the part before the ending. First she says she's against marriage, then the next she's fine with it. WHAT? I'm confused. It seemed a bit rushed in my opinion. Same goes for him. He was set to stay where he was, but suddenly he changes his mind and moves like that. Again, I'm confused. It just seemed weird.
But otherwise, it was a great story. I really wanna jump into the third book already. Liam is just ugh, so incredibly interesting. He's that dark, brooding type of male who's angry and against love. God I love those kind of characters. But alas, I gotta wait until much much later this year. Boo.
If you want a story that pulls at you and is not all about the sex, this is it for you. It's just a romance novel about healing and secrets that will keep you on your toes!

I took me a while to read this book...
I didn't want it to end..
Sarah and Bentley's story is so much more than these pages.
It was about learning to let go and finding acceptance of what life has given us.
She was lost and he was her way home.
It was all about our hearts learning to lead us to our true fate.
I love Ms. Harper's books and this is another 5 star read!!

So many moments I could sympathize with, having dealt with similar emotions. The author grabbed a hold of realistic situations and twisted them around just enough to give everyone a taste of a deeper emotional understanding of what the real people deal with every day with love by their side. A fantastic example of times getting really tough but how love showing us how to hold on and getting through it not by yourself but with others. I'll admit, it took me a bit to realize who I was reading about. I think that it was seeing Axel's name for the thirtieth time that had me finally grasping it.
How do you repair a broken heart?
This is definitely one for the heart, intense story. Sarah keeps to herself most of the time except Saturday nights when she is cruising the bars for a guy to have sex with for that night. Bentley sits down next to Sarah one Saturday and he pushes for more than a one night stand. Some tears and pain in this one. Sarah has to learn to accept her life and the things that have happened and let people back into her life. Tough beautiful story
This is the first book that I have read written by Leddy Harper - A beautiful story of two people brought together through fate and circumstances - Reading Sarah's story, the grief and loss that she felt when her mum passed and how she used men to lose herself and to numb her loss had me in tears and then along comes Bentley and wow what a beautiful man, through his own mortality he sees what Sarah is going through and selflessly gives of himself to try and help her to take the necessary steps towards healing. This is a very moving story and it certainly moved me to tears reading their story. I highly recommend this book it is a 5+ read.
